Gene Yoon is the Managing Partner of Bregal Sagemount. Prior to founding Bregal Sagemount, he was the Head of Private Equity for Goldman, Sachs & Co.'s Americas Special Situations Group, where he focused on middle market and growth equity investing. Before Goldman Sachs, Gene was a Partner at Great Hill Partners, a PE firm specializing in media/communications, technology and business services. Earlier in his career, he was Director of Corporate Development at Geocast Network Systems, a venture-backed technology infrastructure provider. Gene began his career at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in investment banking, and he holds both a Bachelors in Economics and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Prior to Goldman Sachs, Daniel was a Senior Associate at JMI Equity, a $2 billion growth equity firm where he sourced and executed investments in the software, Internet, and business services sectors. Mr. Kim began his career as an analyst at Broadview International. He received an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a BS in Biological Sciences and BA in Music, Phi Beta Kappa, from Stanford University.

Phil Yates is a Partner at Bregal Sagemount. Before Great Hill Partners, Philip was an Associate at Carousel Capital, a middle market LBO firm headquartered in Charlotte, NC where he worked on transactions in franchising, healthcare, industrials and communications. Philip also worked as an Analyst with Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown in the Consumer and Business Services investment banking group. Philip holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Adam Fuller is a Vice President at Bregal Sagemount. He is responsible for originating and leading private equity investments in high-growth businesses in the Software, Business Services, and Healthcare sectors. Prior to Bregal Sagemount, Adam spent five years as a member of the Growth Equity team at Goldman Sachs' Merchant Banking Division. Adam has led investments in many successful growth companies, including Cyber-Ark, the leading provider of Privileged Identity Management software, AppSense, the leading provider of User Virtualization software for enterprise desktop management, American Traffic Solutions, the leading provider of photo traffic safety and enforcement solutions, and Imaging Advantage, a market leader in providing comprehensive radiology services to hospitals and radiology groups. Adam was also a Board Observer at Nimsoft, a leading provider of unified IT monitoring systems, which was acquired by CA Technologies in March 2010 for $350 million, as well as CambridgeSoft, the premier developer of knowledge management software to the life sciences industry, which was acquired by PerkinElmer in March 2011. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Adam was an Associate at Arbor Advisors, an investment bank focused on M&A advisory services for technology companies. Mr. Fuller received a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University.

Blair Greenberg is a Vice President at Bregal Sagemount. Prior to TCV, Blair worked for UBS Investment Bank in the Financial Institutions Group. At UBS, Blair focused on mergers & acquisitions and capital raising transactions for financial technology, asset management, and specialty finance companies. Blair received a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, graduating with High Distinction and an MBA with concentrations in Finance, Management & Strategy, and Marketing from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Clayton Main is the Head of Credit at Bregal Sagemount.  Prior to this, Mr. Main spent 12 years at Goldman Sachs, where he was one of the founding team members of the Goldman Sachs Specialty Lending Group.  As a Vice President for the Specialty Lending Group, he was responsible for originating, structuring, and managing senior debt, second lien debt, mezzanine debt, and equity investments in leveraged transactions on behalf of Goldman Sachs.  Mr. Main led the group’s business development efforts in the Southwest US and was responsible for originations in the business services, transaction processing, financial technology, and software verticals.  He graduated Magna Cum Laude, Honors in Business, with a BBA in Management Information Systems and Organizational Behavior and Business Policy from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX.

Michelle Riley | General Counsel

Michelle has served as General Counsel - Americas of the Bregal corporate investment group since 2007.   Prior to joining Bregal, Michelle was Vice President and Co-General Counsel of ICON Capital Corp., a global asset manager and specialty finance company based in New York.  Before joining ICON, Michelle spent eight years as an M&A attorney at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, and Debevoise & Plimpton LLP.  She also spent a year serving as In-House Counsel to a 2004 U.S. Presidential Primary Campaign. Michelle received her JD from Yale Law School, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Yale Journal on Regulation. She also holds a BA in Political Communication from The George Washington University and an MA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University, where she was a Shapiro Scholar.
